Privacy Policy
The privacy of my visitors is extremely important. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information that is received and collected and how it is used.
First and foremost, I will never share your email address or any other personal information to anyone without your direct consent.
Visit Notifications
To help the site owner understand traffic, the site sends a private visit notification containing:
- Page path and referrer hostname
- Approximate city, region, and country
- Broad device category, browser, operating system, language, and browser time zone
- Whether the browser is new or returning to this site
- UTM campaign parameters, when included in a shared link
- Outbound-link, downloadable-file, and explicitly marked interaction events
- A “likely bot” classification derived from the request user-agent; the raw user-agent is not retained or sent
- Time of the visit
The notification does not include the visitor’s IP address, precise location, full browser user-agent string, or name. A small first-party browser-storage flag is used only to label a visit as new or returning. Bot classification is a heuristic and may be inaccurate.
Cookies and Web Beacons
When you visit this site “convenience” cookies are stored on your computer when you submit a comment to help you log in faster to Disqus the next time you leave a comment.
Third-party advertisers may also place and read cookies on your browser and/or use web beacons to collect information. This site has no access or control over these cookies.
